Foreman / Asst. Manager - fast track building

Rapidly growing fast track building systems manufacturer now
seeking a Carpenter Foreman / or similar as Assistant
Production Manager.
We seek candidates with a strong construction understanding
and a good appreciation of how manufacturing rather than on
site construction can increase efficiencies.
Most importantly you will bring a "can do" attitude to help
take the business forward.
The company has doubled turnover in the last 2 years and are
currently running at their highest ever production levels.
Projects are very fast track and include modular buildings
for schools, Olympics projects, hospitals, leisure, and
modular building hire, as well as high quality timber frame
holiday lodges.
You will have a proven site based construction or timber /
carpentry based manufacturing background, ideally with
experience in modular building / portable accommodation /
offsite construction / holiday lodges / timber frame or
similar fat track timber / steel structures supplying to the
construction sector.
You will need to have a strong people oriented personality,
with ability to drive staff to achieve results in a
pressured environment to strict deadlines.
You will be taught how to keep improving efficiencies and
measure work progress.
Experience is more important than qualifications, though if
you have studied in Higher or Further Education whilst
working, this would be an advantage.
