Sales Executive to Rail Sector
Gloucestershire
£30-£35,000 plus Bonus
This company are leaders in the design, manufacture &
installation of innovative steel products. These are
increasingly used in the rail & highways markets. They have
successfully diversified there products and market areas in
recent years and are looking to build upon there success by
further expanding into the rail sector. Their products are
well suited, with additional benefits of offering reduced
timescales, better sustainability and 100% recycling.
The Role
You will be promoting the company and securing sales
enquiries from their markets. You will specifically be
selling solutions to the Rail sector Contractors, Network
Rail, London Underground etc and to Consultancies.
Experience of and contacts within this sector are therefore
highly beneficial, though candidates with a strong
construction / civils / engineering sales track record in
closely related fields, particularly if related to piling,
foundations or groundworks will be equally considered.
Duties & responsibilities
- Visit potential customers
- Ability to communicate well with customers and to deliver
presentations to large groups
- Run marketing campaigns using PR, Web, E-mail, Brochure
and telephone
- Produce new product literature and update existing media
and web
- Research new markets areas to expand into and monitor
progress in existing markets
- Update database with relevant commercial information
Essentials
- Proven track record in selling engineered solutions
- Rail sector experience or closely related construction or
civil engineering sales background
Package
Salary of £30,000 to £35,000 plus annual bonus. IR business
mileage rates paid ifor use of own vehicle, or pool car
available
Hours of work: 40 Hours per week, 8.00am - 4.30pm
