Opportunity for an experienced Construction Project Manager
with commercial and contractual knowledge and experience for
wide ranging timber frame construction projects from
residential housing & flats, to hotels & other commercial
multi-story accommodation.
This company is a leader in the field of timber frame
construction is the way forward, gaining wide acceptance for
its sustainable credentials, excellent insulation
properties, low carbon footprint, rapid construction, and
incorporation of modern methods of construction and off-site
manufacturing.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the post holder will be
responsible for effectively co-ordinating all front end
activities, from receiving letter of intent to site
installation. Duties will include the reviewing of contracts
and other technical documents, preparation of variations via
the Estimating team, collection and preparation of Design
information as well as close contact with installation
activities through to final account closure. Generally, the
job role will be focused into pre-acceptance input,
immediate post acceptance activities, cost control
monitoring up to Final Account. On-going dialogue will be
required at all levels with both client and internal
departments.
Timber frame construction experience is essential, as is a
solid commercial experience and knowledge and understanding.
As this is a largely office-based role, you will need to
have good communication skills for liaison with clients and
colleagues in all departments.
