Contracts Manager in a growing timber frame housing

We are seeking a timber frame expert with experience as
Contracts Manager / Commercial Manager / Technical Manager
to control both the pre-contract and site phases
particularly relating to contractual and financial aspects
of ongoing residential housing and apartments projects.
Working closely with the Managing Director and senior
management team, you will be responsible for the commercial
performance of projects: with an overview of estimating and
project delivery. This includes all front end activities,
preparation of quotations, collection and preparation of
design information through to final account. Technical
knowledge in timber frame manufacturing and construction is
essential
Generally, the job role will be focused into pre-acceptance
input, immediate post acceptance activities, cost control
monitoring and carry through to final account settlement.
On-going dialogue will be required at all levels with both
client and internal departments.
The successful candidates remit includes face to face
meetings with clients at a strategic level to ensure
development of close client relations and commercial
management during a project's lifespan.
