Technical Manager - R&D Offsite / panelised / SIPS

This is a unique opportunity for a Technical Manager /
Director to take a central role in establishing a new
panelised timber building manufacturing company. Here is a
chance for early stage involvement and to help steer an
exciting new venture at the leading edge of off-site /
panelised / timber frame engineering.
The company has patents on its' designs for timber material
based wall panels, beams, and roof panels. Additionally they
have attracted significant funding to launch the venture,
with plans for a manufacturing operation.
There is now an opening to for a senior professional leading
the technical direction of the company. You will have a
clear understanding of and experience in taking innovative
prototype building products / full building solutions
through testing and certification with TRADA / Zurich / BRE
etc. We are seeking a senior level candidate with a strong
knowledge and understanding off offsite construction and its
benefits. You will also need a firm appreciation of the
rapidly developing offsite construction / modular build /
SIPS / panelised structures market and hold an informed view
on the best direction to take, through your industry
knowledge and contacts.
The role can continue once certification is achieved into a
senior technical position within the business, or if suited,
to head the full development of the business into the
relevant nmarkets
There is an attractive package available for the right
candidate not limited to, though anticipated initially at
around £45,000 salary, plus pension contribution, car
allowance, and potentially a share option scheme open for
discussion.
