Are you currently a Designer with experience in timber roof truss, i-beam / joists / trussed rafters, and looking to take that important next step into a Team Leader / Senior Designer role?

Due to growth within the company this market leading manufacturer, distributor and processor of roof trusses is looking for key personnel to work within their friendly and family orientated Timber Engineering office based in Suffolk.

This is an opportunity to work for a market leading trussed rafter manufacturer with a brand name in the Roof Truss sector for well over 100 years. With a strong ethos into innovating and developing new roof truss products, the company has grown to produce and distribute roof trusses / trussed rafters across the United Kingdom. The product range includes I-beams (FJI joists) and Posistrut joists. Currently production and distribution runs into tens of thousands on a weekly basis and company turnover has recently exceeded £70m, with a 193% jump in profits!

The role on offer is that of a Roof Truss designer. Ideally you will have 3 years experience as a designer of Roof Trusses. For the right candidate you will have the opportunity to step into the shoes of senior Roof Truss Designer and beyond! This individual will require strong design skills, and you will use the Mitek system to produce designs, some of which will be bespoke!
A strong team player is needed as you will mentor and coach more junior truss designers. Your ability to communicate will be essential as client interaction is key, as will be your technical knowledge of roof trusses!
