We are retained to recruit a Mechanical Engineer with
Building Services skills for a leading company in the
construction sector for their Sustainability and Environment
Team.
The company advise construction and manufacturing clients on
how offsite construction techniques can play a significant
part in delivering sustainable construction.
They offer design, advise, evaluation, training and
assessment services,
We are seeking an ambitious Mechanical Engineer with a good
understanding of the sustainability agenda. This individual
should be multi-disciplinary and able to act as a Consultant
or Designer, depending on the project, dealing with building
dynamics, M&E, water systems, manufacturing processes, etc.
Knowledge of the Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM
software package would be an advantage.
we are looking for innovative and forward thinking
individuals keen to expand their knowledge base into offsite
construction and sustainability and environment.
Sustainability and Environmental issues are now a key
consideration in house building and wider construction, and
the industry is rapidly turning to Offsite Construction and
Modern Methods of Construction ( MMC ) to help them achieve
improvements in these areas.
Sustainability goes beyond the construction of a building,
and looks into a wider range of issues such as technical,
social and economics. Our client is building on their team
that will reach out to offer clients solid and wide ranging
consultancy services, based on offsite construction and
innovations. Their ongoing work is likely to touch
construction methods, waste, water, ecological values of
sites and more.
