Production / Logistics Planner

£22,000 to £25,000 plus benefits

Our client is one of the UK leading suppliers of trussed roof rafters and engineered wood products in the UK and part of a major group.
They are undergoing significant further growth and development opening up a great career opportunity for an ambitous planning / logistics professional.

The successful candidate based at the head office in Lancashire and will be able to work well under pressure, have good I.T. skills, previous experience of Production / Logistics planning and have excellent communication skills.

Candidate will have a proven track record of working to and generating key business targets.
Ideally you will also have experience of MRP (Material Requirements Planning)

Key Responsibilities
Generating the production / logistics plan for all manufacturing sites (currently 4 - and expected to grow to 8 this year!), meeting customer required delivery dates and manufacturing capacity constraints.
Co-ordinating logistics activities
Communicating requirements between customer, manufacturing and logistics.
Developing / Improving business systems / processes.
