We are seeking to attract a Senior Quantity Surveyor to to take on full responsibility for the commercial running of a £10m Division within a major steel engineering company. As well as gaining increased responsibilities and remuneration in this role, there are good promotion prospects for commercial management staff within this successful and growing group. There are plenty of QS jobs about - but not many that are this good - read on!

This Senior Quantity Surveyor role will give you responsibility for the financial management of all the Division's projects and for the supervision and management of the company's financial cost value performance in respect of individual projects. You will additionally be responsible for helping the development of 3 further junior members assisting in your commercial team.

The company has a good order book and get involved in many flagship and interesting projects. Project values around £0.75M to £5M.
Sub Contractor experience is helpful, in dealing wirth main contractors, as would experience with structural steel - though not essential for a talented candidate that can learn quickly.
