Innovative and rapidly growing modular building company has opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join and grow with the business. You will be working closely with the Commercial Director controlling financial aspects of their modular building projects workload. Whilst relatively new this company is already winning awards for its inovative and robust offsite construction solution and growing rapidly - with huge further potential.

This is the leading edge of the modular building sector - an sector that is gaining widespread acceptance throughout the construction industry.

They are currently very successful in student accomodation and are expanding into luxury residential appartments, care homes, hotels etc for which their robust offsite construction solution is very well suited (Panelised light steel structures combined with a concrete flooring system). They work on projects where their part is of values up to £7m to £8m.

Your role is to carry out the main Quantity Surveying duties for all contracts, from take offs, through negotiating on variations and delays etc, through to final account. You will work closely with the Commercial Director in managing the commercial department / and future needs as the business grows - there is great potential for someone capable of taking on rapidly increasing responsibilities, in a non traditional company that manufactures and installs as much as "builds" buildings. You will of course need strong computer/spreadsheet abilities and have significant enough experience to manage projects largely on your own. Travel throughout the UK is part of the role.
