Here is a key Business Development Manager role, with genuine Directorship potential, in a specialist management consultancy within construction, and manufacturing for offsite construction ( Modular building, pods / timber frame, MMC etc ).

 

Offsite manufacturing in the UK is rapidly expanding as the construction sector seeks to build more with less as well as meet the growing demands for better quality, higher levels of safety and sustainability and to build more quickly.

 

This sales management role will be responsible for the developing business with new and existing clients throughout the UK. Clients are highly diverse from major housing developers and contractors through to Housing Associations and offsite system manufacturers.

 

The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships to ensure that both new and repeat business meets the strong growth targets forecast for this leading and rapidly developing consultancy business.

 

You will join a dynamic Business Development team reporting to the Director responsible for new business sales.  This role is intended to be the breeding ground for the future Business Development Director who will take full responsibility for sales for the consultancy business and will thus be a key member of the Senior Management team for the Company.  This promotion is intended to take place within two years.

 

Role:

·        Provide new or repeat sales to meet agreed monthly business targets

·        Help grow the profile & position of the company attending and speaking at events and conferences

·        Maintain the client base in the region including planning of PR and marketing events and campaigns to grow the awareness and demand for the Consultancy services

·        Be involved in securing and handing over new consultancy assignments from the Customer to the Consultancy team ensuring that client requirements are fully understood by the Consultancy team.

·        Be involved in all customer care activities to ensure ongoing client retention.
