Site Engineer / Site Surveyor required for growing
contractor specialising in modular building. Role involves
carrying out detailed site surveys to be used in planning
and pricing projects as well as setting out for projects on
site. This role involves UK wide travel covering all the
company's sites, though you need to be prepared to spend at
least 2 days per week in their Head Office in the West
Midlands / Mid Wales region.
Essential requirements:
:: Practical experience within a civil engineering and/or
construction environment as a Site Engineer or Surveyor
:: Qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction (
Degree, HND, HNC or ONC desirable but not essential )
:: Strong maths and IT skills
:: Training and experience in CAD including converting
survey findings into suitable AutoCAD files
:: Solid experience in the use of total station
:: Ability to plot and record all setting out (including
internals, drainage inverts and runs etc)
:: Proven experience in setting out buildings to line and
levels
:: Ability to produce and provide details for as-built
drawings
You must also be in possession of a full Driving Licence and
be able to achieve enhanced CRB clearance
Your personal qualities will include a highly-organised and
punctual approach and attention to detail, combined with an
ability to work to deadlines. This is a growing company with
large workloads through ongoing framework agreements giving
good security and progression opportunities. They are keen
