Construction sector Buyer experienced in procurement of building materials, plant and sub contract suppliers. Significant level of responsibility within our client's supply chain team. Sound well established company with long term public sector workloads. You will be responsible for sourcing building materials to specification, negotiating best pricing, raising orders and ensuring required delivery targets can be met. Requirements: Experience as a Buyer / Purchasing / Procurement Good IT skills: Word, Excel Technical construction knowledge: ability to read construction drawings to take off materials Understanding of manufacturing and design Negotiation skills Strong organisational abilities Commercial awareness Applications are welcomed from closely matching candidates only please.
